They resided on a farm in Roanoke Co., VA in 1860.39 They migrated to Texas Co., MO about 1868.37 J. Conrad and Lucinda (Oxley) Greenwood gave several
acres of land from their farm north of Dunn, MO, for the site of the Greenwood
Church of the Brethren and its cemetery, where some of this family are buried,
including William Henry and Mary Francis Greenwood. The original building was
erected in 1871, and was restructured in a cobblestone building in the early
1930s. Regular services are still held there. Members of the Greenwood
family have helped through the years.
