Source: In June, 1998, a letter arrived from Wayne Jones, 1215 Cedar Avenue, Cabool, MO 65689 and he stated that his grandpa was Rufus James Beck, son of Edward Rufus Beck and Sarah Francis Greenwood/Beck. Possibly "Rufus" was the nickname that Reuben was called. I will research. JNT

Rube and Daisy beck lived for many yrears on the family farm before retiring and moving to 300 Paul Street in Cabool,MO.

The couple raised their four children on the farm, earning their living through farming, trhreshing, and running a sawmill.
