382. Frederick Alexander "Freddie" Crawford²⁸ was born on 2 May 1935 in Durban, Natal, South Africa.^14,28 He died due to head injuries received in a motorcycle accident in 1967.²⁸ [Email from Pat Tade - 23 Apr 2003]
He (Freddie) was married with 4 children. (His firstborn son, Gregory died young due to a heart defect.) I remember him and liked him tremendously. He had a wonderful sense of fun and humour and I remember, when I was very young, seeing him do tricks with cards and teasing me with disappearing coin tricks. Still have to find out his children's names. I think there was a Kevin and Andrew. They had moved away and I lost touch with his family.
