Nancy Ann Neighbors was born on 1 Sep 1933 in Kansas City, MO.⁶⁴⁴ She graduated from high school at Central High in Kansas City, Jackson Co., MO in Jun 1951.¹²³ She received a bachelor's degree from State Fair College in 1971 in Sedalia, MO.⁶⁴⁵ Nancy was named to the President's list for the Fall 1971 session which required a minimum 4.00 grade point average as a full-time student. Before 2000 she had an occupation of accountant for Ruskin Manufacturing in Grandview, MO.⁶⁴⁶ She died on 5 May 2001 in Research Medical Center, Kansas City, MO.^644,646 She was buried in Park Lawn Cemetery, 83rd St & Hillcrest Rd on 9 May 2001 in Kansas City, Jackson Co., MO.^646,647 The memorial service was officiated by Nancy's cousin, the Reverend Margaret Thompson.

Nancy Ann Neighbors and Lawrence William "Buck" Kain were married in 1952.¹²³ Lawrence William "Buck" Kain (son of Albert Thomas Kain and Fannie Ella Holliman) was born in 1924.⁶⁴⁸ He appeared in the census in 1930.⁶⁴⁸ Nancy Ann Neighbors and Lawrence William "Buck" Kain had the following children:
